The West Adelaide Bearcats have made their first player signing for the 2022 NBL1 Central season, adding Lachlan Hunter to their men's roster.
Hunter joins coach Corey MacLean and women's coach Kaye-Lee Stuart in re-signing for 2022.
Both coaches are West Adelaide juniors, with Stuart playing 226 WNBL games and MacLean being a two-time championship coach.
Hunter averaged 7.2 points and seven rebounds per game in 2021.
He said he was looking forward to the future in red and black.
"I’m excited to return for my third year as a Bearcat and continue to grow our game and team culture," Hunter said.
Head coach Corey MacLean was equally delighted to secure Hunter's signature.
"We are excited to re-sign Lachie for season 2022," MacLean said.
"He is a key member of our group both on and off the court.
"His rim protection and rebounding are key elements to our defence.
"We believe he still has room to grow as a player on both ends of the floor and look forward to his continued development."
