Adelaide 36ers guard Keanu Rasmussen has signed with the West Adelaide Bearcats for the 2025 NBL1 Central season.
Last playing NBL1 in 2023 with the Sturt Sabres, Rasmussen went on to play in the NZNBL with the Hawke's Bay Hawks in 2024 – averaging over 18 points per game.
His stellar play led to another contract with the Adelaide 36ers, where in recent weeks he has been critical to their rotation with respective injuries and suspensions to Dejan Vasiljevic and Kendric Davis.
This season he is averaging 14.3 minutes per game, a major difference over last season’s 1.2 per game.
His play has been impressive, especially to NBA champion and former Australian Boomer Andrew Bogut.
“I can tell you there’s NBL GMs right now that are trying to find out what his NBL contract looks like for next season,” he said on broadcast.
“With every minute played, he’s starting to establish himself as a legitimate NBL player.”
With a season-high of nine points against the JackJumeprs on November 30th, Rasmussen will be in top shape coming into the 2025 Central season.
