The Joondalup Wolves have recruited Jermaine Malie from the Eastern Suns for the 2022 Coles Express NBL1 West season.
He averaged 10 points and nearly five rebounds per game in 2021.
He also shot the ball at 50 percent from the field.
Malie had this to say about joining Joondalup: "I am excited to get the opportunity to be a part of one of the well accomplished and respected organisations in the league.
"I am looking forward to playing for a coach who is willing to push to get the best out of his players where the main focus is to get better and win the right way."
On the women's side of things, Laniesha Paddon and Kiara Phillips have signed on.
6'0" forward Laniesha Paddon joined the Pack in 2018 and has continued to grow year in and year out.
Being a young player doesn’t stop Paddon from stepping up and playing her role with confidence.
She can often be seen using her athleticism and aggression to get to the rim and finish a play with ease.
Paddon will be a great additional offensive threat on the Wolfpack to occupy opponents’ minds.
Phillips, a 5'11" guard, played 13 years of club basketball in Victoria before her talent led her to America.
While in America, Kiara played Junior College and ended her college career playing for the Norfolk State University Spartans.
In 2021, Phillips was set to play with the Dandenong Rangers in NBL1 South before a pre-season injury interrupted her plans.
