The Albury Wodonga Bandits have signed Ruby Watson, Sarah Mellington, Jack Saunders and Ai Yamada for the 2022 Coles Express NBL1 East season.
Here's what women's coach Matt Paps had to say about each signing:
Ruby Watson
"Ruby is another talented Wodonga junior that gets an opportunity in NBL1.
"Ruby showed big improvements across the 2021 season learning how to use her athleticism and speed to her advantage as she progresses into higher levels.
"I look forward to seeing the continued development of Ruby and where she can take her basketball over the next few years."
Sarah Mellington
"Sarah has brought a great level of intensity to training, particularly on the defensive end.
"She has great speed and aggression and a defence first mind which is important to the success of a team."
Ai Yamada
"I am excited to be able to bring Ai back to the border.
"She has a great basketball mind and is going to really bring some excitement to the way we play.
"With professional and international experience, it will be great for the young players coming through the program to have the opportunity to play with and learn from Ai."
Speaking about Saunders, men's head coach Haydn Kirkwood said: "It has been exciting working individually with Jack in pre-season.
"A true professional in every sense of the word."
