The Hills Hornets dominated the Inner West Trojans 90-45 on Saturday evening at ELS Hall Park. The Hornets controlled the game from the opening tip, building a lead that ballooned to 45 points. Rachel McLimore and Emma Kary led the Hills attack with 21 and 22 points respectively. Kary was on fire from outside, hitting five triples on 56 percent shooting, while McLimore added five threes of her own. The Hornets' ball movement was exceptional with 23 assists compared to just six for Inner West, with Hannah Griffin dishing a game-high six dimes. Hills dominated the glass (59-43) and forced 21 turnovers while collecting 17 steals. The Trojans struggled mightily from the field, connecting on just 27 percent of their attempts and an ice-cold 10 percent from beyond the arc. Piath Gabriel provided a rare bright spot with 14 points on efficient 54 percent shooting. Tylah Mundine added eight points and grabbed a game-high 12 boards, but Inner West's 21 turnovers and poor foul shooting (43 percent from the charity stripe) prevented any chance of a comeback. **HILLS HORNETS 90 (Emma Kary 22, Rachel McLimore 21, Lucy Corke 11).** **INNER WEST TROJANS 45 (Piath Gabriel 14, Shiho Yamazaki 9, Tylah Mundine 8).**
