ADELAIDE 36ERS RETURN TO WULANDA FOR BLOCKBUSTER NBL PRESEASON CLASH

The Pioneers Basketball Club is excited to announce the return of the Adelaide 36ers to Wulanda Recreation & Convention Centre to take on the NBL1 Select Team at Wulanda Recreation and Convention Centre on Thursday, September 11, tipping off at 7:30PM.
This marks the third consecutive year that the Adelaide 36ers will feature in a preseason game hosted by the Pioneers, further strengthening the club’s commitment to delivering national-level basketball events to the Limestone Coast.
Headlining this year’s clash are NBL superstar Bryce Cotton and former NBA Sixth Man of the Year Montrezl Harrell, two world-class athletes set to light up the Wulanda floor. Fans can expect an explosive display of skill, speed, and power in what promises to be a truly unforgettable night of basketball.
The Adelaide 36ers will face an NBL1 South Select team, made up of standout players from across the NBL1 South conference. The matchup will showcase the best of Australian basketball—where rising stars meet established champions on one stage.
“The Pioneers are hugely excited and appreciative of the opportunity to host the Adelaide 36ers, the third consecutive year that our club has hosted the NBL club in Mount Gambier”. President of the Pioneers Basketball Club - Tom Kosch said.
“We are also excited for the new look of the game this season against an NBL1 Select team that will showcase some of the best NBL1 talent coming up against a star-studded Adelaide 36ers line up only one week before the 2025/26 NBL season tips off.”
Wulanda Recreation and Convention Centre will once again will serve as the heart of basketball in Mount Gambier for this exclusive one-night event. With fan access closer than ever and the atmosphere at Wulanda unmatched, this game is expected to sell out fast.
A number of corporate offerings will be made available to all looking to elevate their game night experience. Club partners and sponsors will be offered first right of refusal on their corporate seating.
Pioneers Basketball Club members will get first right of refusal on their reserved seating with general admission ticketing will go on sale Monday 11th of August at 5PM.
