Claiming the 2014 and 2018 Premier League (formerly NBL1 Central) MVPs, Starling adds his first one of the NBL1 era – while also taking home his fifth Best Defensive Player honour (2017, 19, 22, 23, 24).
Starling averaged a career-high 23.1 points per game, adding 11.9 rebounds, 3.6 assists, 2.7 steals and 1.4 blocks per game during his 18 games for the Panthers.
Coming off his debut NBL season, Starling emerged as an even more potent threat on both ends, claiming multiple Foot Locker Player of the Week awards.
The Panthers finished with a conference-high 15-3 record, automatically advancing to the Semi Finals. They’ll now host the Forestville Eagles on Saturday, from 8:00pm ACST streaming live via NBL1.com.au or the NBL1 App.
