Assists leader Hunter re-signs with Panthers

The South Adelaide Panthers have re-signed Jordan Hunter for the 2022 NBL1 Central season. 

Hunter led the league in assists this season, averaging 8.09 dimes to go with her 8.76 points and 4.19 rebounds per game. 

Her best performance of the season came against the Central Districts Lions, dishing out a whopping 20 assists. 

Hunter also played a key role in the Panthers' 2021 finals campaign, despite the team falling short in the preliminary final against the North Adelaide Rockets. 

South Adelaide women's head coach Richard Dickel was looking forward to having Hunter back in navy blue next year.

"We are lucky to have Jordy back playing for South next year," he said.

"Her basketball skills, IQ and leadership is something that we are looking forward to seeing out there on the court."

Hunter is also coaching the club's U14 Division 2 Boys team, highlighting her commitment to South Adelaide.
