Four NBL1 stars have secured Australia’s ticket to the FIBA 3x3 World Cup.
Going undefeated in the FIBA 3x3 World Cup Qualifiers, Marena Whittle and Ally Wilson dominated the final game against Israel — combining for 19 points to secure Australia the top spot.
Mount Gambier’s Miela Goodchild and Launceston’s Keely Froling rounded out the team that got Australia the win.
The 2023 FIBA 3x3 World Cup will take place in Vienna, Austria, from May 30 - June 4.
While over in Wuhan, Australia’s Women’s World Series team featuring Lauren Mansfield, Chloe Bibby, Emma Clarke and Amy Atwell came second to China.
