Ballantyne back to full strength for Giants' Men

A massive re-signing for your Northern Star Resources Goldfields Giants Men's team, with the return of guard Damon Ballantyne for the 2022 season.

Coming into his third season with the Giants, Ballantyne was having a fantastic season in 2021, averaging 10 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals per game before a serious knee injury sidelined him for the remainder of the season after just 6 games.
His return for this coming season wasn't guaranteed, but he's worked hard in the off-season, has been training strongly and is looking forward to getting back on court in the blue and gold for season 2022.

Now in his sixth season of SBL/NBL1 competition, he brings to the club a tall guard who can play either position, is a deadly three point shot, methodical decision maker and brilliant defender who's experience will be a valuable addition to the team for 2022.
