Bankstown secure 2025 head coach

The NBL1 East’s Bankstown Bruins have made a change early into the offseason, elevating Lauryn Curtin to their women’s head coach for the 2025 season. 

The Bruins struggled last season, finishing 14th on the ladder with a 4-16 record. However, the Bruins record isn’t truly reflective of their overall season, as they fell short in four games by five points or less. 

Curtin was a critical piece to the Bruins coaching staff last season, now being elevated from assistant to head coach for the 2025 season. Last year she was the head coach for Bankstown’s U18s ‘JPL’ Girls.
