Basso and Lual commit to Wolves

The Joondalup Wolves have announced the signings of Olivia Basso and Akim Lual for the 2022 Coles Express NBL1 West season.

Basso first joined the NBL1 Wolfpack as a 15-year-old in 2018.

In her latest WABL season, she earned the 2021 WABL Championship MVP and she continued to ruthlessly work on her game in anticipation for the upcoming 2022 NBL1 West season.

Lual joins the Pack from the Cockburn Cougars NBL1 women’s team.

She is a versatile forward – quick, shifty and an added threat on the perimeter.

Lual’s speed and athleticism will be a key addition to the Wolves, especially in the rebounding battle.
