Bearcats secure former NBL player Ross

The West Adelaide Bearcats have announced the signing of Earnest Ross Jr for the 2021 NBL1 Central season.

After graduating from the University of Missouri in 2014, Ross moved to Australia to begin his professional career, joining the Perth Wildcats for the 2014-15 NBL season.

Following an injury interrupted NBL season, Ross was drafted by the Santa Cruz Warriors of the NBA G-League.

Since then, Ross has also starred in the New Zealand NBL, Danish Basketligaen, Qatar Basketball League and Australian leagues, the SEABL and SBL (now NBL1 South and NBL1 West respectively).

Most recently, Ross participated in the NBA G-League with the South Bay Lakers.

Ross is a key piece for the Bearcats as they embark on their inaugural season in the NBL1 Central, which also marks the club’s 75th year.
