The Bendigo Braves have signed Brennan Rymer, Taylor Bell and Chris Hogan for the 2021 NBL1 South season.
Bell and Hogan have been named co-captains for the upcoming season and with their impressive basketball resumes, it's not hard to see why.
After a year as an assistant coach in 2019, Bell is back in the Bendigo Braves uniform for his 16th season.
Bell has played 359 games for the club and was a vital member of five conference grand final wins in 2005, 2007, 2010, 2011 and 2016.
He is also a two-time National Championship player for the Braves.
Meanwhile, Hogan is back for his 19th season with the Bendigo Braves.
Hogan made his debut in 2002 and has played every season since.
The 441-game veteran and Bendigo Braves games record-holder was a leader in the five conference grand finals in 2005, 2007, 2010, 2011 and 2016, as well as being a member of the National Championships in 2005 and 2016.
Bell and Hogan will be complemented by hard-working guard Rymer in the 2021 roster.
Rymer is returning to Australia after completing college at Azusa Pacific University, where he averaged 14.7 points, 4.9 rebounds and 5.1 assists per game.
He will be a key facilitator for the Bendigo Braves this season, as he works hard at both ends of the floor and has a great basketball IQ.
On the women's side of things, Abbey Wehrung and Tess Madgen have been named co-captains for the upcoming season.
The WNBL duo will undoubtedly be great leaders for an up-and-coming Braves roster.
