Black, Keller, Stewart return for South West Slammers in NBL1 West

The South West Slammers have re-signed Zaya Black, Mari Stewart and Mitchell Keller for the 2021 NBL1 West season. 

Black has played 13 games for the Slammers in the past two seasons, averaging six points in 2020. 

Keller has been with the Slammers since 2014 and is coming off a productive 2020 season, averaging 14.8 points and 8.4 rebounds from his 12 appearances. 

American power forward Stewart boasts an impressive basketball resume, having played in the United States, Kosovo and Sweden. 

Accolades include being the Mountain East Conference Freshman of the Year at West Virginia Wesleyan, representing Greece in the Eurobasket Summer League and winning a regular-season championship in the Kosovo league.

She will be key for the Slammers this season, who open their campaign on Saturday 17 April against the Warwick Senators.
