Bonnie Deas Off to Centre of Excellence

Congratulations to Bonnies Deas, who next year will be heading off to Basketball Australia’s Centre of Excellence.

Bonnies’s year has included an Under 18’s VJBL campaign including the National Junior Classics, participation in the National Performance Program, suiting up and playing with our NBL1 Women and the BA COE team and winning a Championship with our Youth League Women.

FDBA COE Wayne Holdsworth spoke about Bonnie’s achievement.

“In March 2022, Bonnie spoke in front of over 100 people at our Senior Blues launch, about her aspirations. She wants to be in the WNBA!

“This is the next step in her journey in elite basketball. We are all very proud of her achievements so far and look forward to watching her move through the ranks.”
