The South West Metro Pirates have announced the signing of South East Melbourne Phoenix and Australian Boomer star Mitch Creek.
Creek is fresh off his first NBL Finals campaign with the Phoenix and another stellar season in black and green, averaging 18 points, 6.41 rebounds and 3.62 assists.
The Phoenix sharpshooter was also named in the Australian Boomers' reduced squad for the upcoming Tokyo Olympics.
Creek has represented Australia in multiple settings, including the World University Games, FIBA Asia Cup and FIBA World Cup.
The 29-year-old also took his skills to the NBA, where he had stints with the Brooklyn Nets and Minnesota Timberwolves back in 2019.
Creek will suit up alongside fellow NBL star Brendan Teys when the Pirates take on Rockhampton on Friday night at 8pm.
Fans can watch Creek's first NBL1 North appearance live and free on NBL1.com.au and the NBL App.
