Rockhampton has announced that Briana Bailey is returning to the Cyclones for the upcoming Coles Express NBL1 North season.
Bailey will be a great addition to the group and will help strengthen the Cyclones' roster for the upcoming season.
Bailey has spent the last two seasons playing in Western Australia with the Perth Redbacks in NBL1 West and since returning home after the 2021 season, Bailey has been working hard on her game with new Coach Drew Fenton since he arrived and is looking forward to a big season with the Cyclones.
"I am really excited to be returning to play in Cyclones colours and looking forward to playing in front of our wonderful home crowd here in Rockhampton," Bailey said.
"I am looking forward to working with Drew and am excited in the role that he believes I can play for the Cyclones this upcoming season."
Speaking about Bailey's signing, Fenton said: "Bri was a priority to get back into Cyclones colours and we are excited that she has decided to stay and play for the 2022 season.
"Bri can shoot the ball extremely well from the perimeter and is working hard each day to ensure she is ready for the start of the season.
"I’m looking forward to her playing in the guard positions throughout the year and being a huge part of the team for the season ahead."
