Chelsea Brook and Kylie Duggan are Darwin's first women's signings for the 2022 Coles Express NBL1 North season.
Brook is currently playing her eighth season for the Adelaide Lightning in the WNBL and will join the team up north once her commitments finish.
In NBL1 North last year, Brook won the Mackay Meteorettes' MVP and Players' Player awards.
She joins partner and Mackay Meteors Grand Final MVP Jerron Jamerson in Salties singlets this year.
Salties Women's Head Coach Rod Tremlett said he looked forward to having Brook join the side.
"We couldn't be more excited about Chelsea's signing in our inaugural season," he said.
"Chelsea is a genuine WNBL level talent shown by her outstanding start to the season with the Adelaide Lightning this year.
"In my view, Chelsea was a top five player in the NBL1 North last season.
"She brings all-round talents to the court whether that be scoring, rebounding or blocking shots.
"Importantly, off the court Chelsea is an outstanding person, just the type of player we are looking for to be a role model for young Territory girls invested in our sport.
"We can't wait for Chelsea to get to Darwin and take up a leadership role in our team in 2022."
Duggan is Darwin's first local signing, having played with the Tracy Village Jets for a number of years.
Her playing career has in total has spanned over 30 years, so she will add great experience and leadership to the new Salties line-up.
Coach Tremlett said he was excited to welcome someone of Duggan's calibre to the Darwin roster.
"Kylie is the current MVP of the Darwin Basketball Association League Women's competition, as well as being a Northern Territory junior representative, multiple league championship winner and Arafura Games Gold medallist.
"Kylie has established herseld as a role model throughout her sporting career.
"She is definitely someone local juniors look up to given not only her basketball ability but also because of the outstanding sportsmanship she consistently displays.
"We couldn't be more thrilled to officially welcome Kylie to the Darwin Salties family."
