The West Adelaide Basketball Club have announced the signing of Bryan Michaels for the 2021 NBL1 Central season.

Michaels played college basketball for the Concordia University Cavaliers in Portland, averaging 13 points, four rebounds and two assists per game his Senior season.

Following his collegiate career, Michaels starred in the SBL (now NBL1 West), where the 191cm guard averaged 16 points and four rebounds, including shooting 44 percent beyond the arc.

Michaels’ standout play earned him a development player contract with the Perth Wildcats for the 2018-2019 NBL season.

After an injury interrupted 2019 with the Hobart Huskies, Michaels returned to the United States to focus on his recovery.

Michaels now returns to Australia ready to showcase his skills, silky shooting ability and defensive nous for the Bearcats in the inaugural NBL1 Central season.
