The Geraldton Buccaneers have had a busy weekend, re-signing Brandon Holloway as well as nabbing former Eastern Suns star Ryan Blanchett and NBL1 Central Defensive Player of the Year Cameron Coleman.
Blanchett, who spent 2021 captaining the Eastern Suns, averaged 11.42 points and 5.42 rebounds per game.
At 6'8, the 24-year-old will provide a huge presence in the key for the Buccs in 2022.
Coleman joins Geraldton from the Southern Tigers in NBL1 Central, who finished the season in fifth place.
Coleman had a spectacular individual season, taking out the NBL1 Central Defensive Player of the Year, making an appearance in the league's All Star Five and winning the Tigers' Most Valuable Player award.
Holloway joined the Buccs late last year after spending time with the Eastern Suns and contributed good minutes following his knee injury recovery.
He averaged 8.75 points, 3.08 assists and 2.66 rebounds per game.
