Canberra stacks rosters on eve of NBL1 East season

The Canberra Nationals have signed Jasmyn Boutzos and Mia Slater for the 2022 Coles Express NBL1 East season. 

The Gunners have recruited Mitch Brown, Angus Williams, Max Cooper, Reece Kaye and James Toohey.

Brown will return for another season in Gunners colours, while Williams and Cooper will bring plenty of hustle to this year's squad.

Rising stars Boutzos and Slater will look to continue to strengthen their on-court games as part of the 2022 squad, with both expecting to see plenty of court-time throughout the season.

Kaye returns to the Gunners in 2022, after a few seasons playing in Europe and coaching ACT Representative sides and the Vikings P1 Men's Championship team in 2021.

Meanwhile, Toohey wraps up his time in the US and will return to Canberra after a very successful college stint, in which he was captain of the Saginaw Valley State University Cardinals Men's basketball team.
