CASTEC RURAL SUPPLIES EXTENDS NAMING RIGHT PARTNERSHIP AHEAD OF 2025 NBL1 SOUTH SEASON

The Mount Gambier Pioneers are thrilled to announce that Castec Rural Supplies has extended its long-standing commitment as the Naming Rights Partner of our men’s program, ahead of the 2025 NBL1 South

The two-year partnership renewal marks an incredible 15-year tenure between Castec Rural Supplies and the Pioneers, dating back to 2010 when the Castine family first partnered with the Pioneers.

“The partnership between Castec Rural Supplies and the Pioneers has been instrumental in our clubs on court and off-court success” President Tom Kosch said.

“To have the continued support of the Castine family beyond 15 years is amazing at this level of community sport, and without the support of our major partner’s this level of competition would not exist in our region”.

The Castec Rural Supplies brand is prominent throughout the Limestone Coast region with agriculture branches located in Mount Gambier, Naracoorte, Penola, Kingston, and Lucindale.

The Castine family are amazing contributors and supporters of their local community and are deeply embedded in sport and recreation throughout the region.

“Our business has supported the Mount Gambier Pioneers as naming right partner for the past 15 years, and we are excited to sign on again for a further two years”. Managing director of Castec Rural Supplies Chris Castine said.

As it has been for 15 years The Pioneers men’s program will continue to be known as the “Castec Rural Pioneers” through the naming right partnership with Castec Rural Supplies.

“While falling just short of making the grand final last year, we wish Richard and the team the best of luck as they enter the 2025 season.

“They look fully primed with some good signings, and as we have seen since Richo has been at the helm, they will give their all and prove hard to beat again, I’m sure.” Chris Castine added.

Over time the commercial partnership has grown to include the annual Lifeline game to our home game schedule. The auction of the men’s playing singlets raised $7,450 in 2024, which directly benefited the fundraising efforts of the local Lifeline Branch in Mount Gambier.

The Castec Rural Pioneers will commence their 2025 campaign with high hopes, eager to build on last season’s momentum and once again contend for championship glory.
