Central Districts Lions win the 2024 NBL1 Central women’s championship

The 2024 season for the Central Districts Lions will now live in the history books forever, after they secured their first NBL1 Central women’s championship with a 79-67 victory in a thrilling Grand Final against the Forestville Eagles.

The Lions turned a six-point three quarter time deficit into the 12-point win in a stunning turnaround.

Taylah Levy led the way for Central Districts and won Finals MVP with 25 points, eight rebounds and seven assists.
