The Hobart Chargers beat the Sandringham Sabres 80-76 on Saturday evening at Southern Basketball Stadium.
The Chargers dominated the glass to secure the win, pulling down 51 rebounds to Sandringham's 48. Ole Angerstein was a force inside with a double-double of 17 points and 15 boards, while Jacob Richards added another double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds. William Cranston-Lown led all Hobart scorers with 19 points, though his eight turnovers nearly proved costly. The Chargers' superior shooting made the difference, hitting 41.3 percent from the field compared to the Sabres' 35.5 percent.
Sandringham stayed competitive thanks to their ball security, committing just eight turnovers to Hobart's 13.
