Frankston Blues NBL1 star Chloe Bibby has received a thrilling call-up to represent the Australian Opals at the upcoming FIBA Women's Asia Cup. This will mark Bibby's debut for the Opals, and her outstanding performance in the NBL1 South has rightfully earned her a place on the national team.

Bibby has been in sensational form this season, leading the league in scoring with an impressive average of 28.1 points per game. In addition to her scoring prowess, she has also contributed 5.7 rebounds per game and 2.5 assists per game, showcasing her versatility on the court.

Currently, the Frankston Blues sit comfortably in fourth place on the NBL1 South Ladder, with Bibby's exceptional performances being a key factor in their success. Her selection for the Opals is a testament to her hard work and dedication, and it is a well-deserved opportunity for her to showcase her skills on the international stage.

The Australian Opals, positioned at the top of Group B, are set to commence their FIBA Women's Asia Cup campaign on Monday, June 26, against the Philippines. The team will then face Chinese Taipei on Tuesday, June 27, and complete their pool games against third-ranked Japan on Wednesday, June 28. After a rest day on Thursday, the finals will take place on Friday and Saturday, with the medal games scheduled for Sunday, July 2.
