Captain of the Rockingham Flames, Ryan Godfrey, has signed a two-year deal to return to the club.
Described as the Heart and Soul of Rockingham, the inaugural 2022 NBL1 National Finals Championship Game MVP is back for another two seasons.
After leading the Flames to the Preliminary Finals against the Joondalup Wolves, Godfrey’s Flames had their chance at redemption in the National Finals in WA – reaching the championship game once again, before losing by five points to the Knox Raiders.
For the season he averaged 11 points, three assists and two rebounds for the 2022 NBL1 West Champions.
The 300-game veteran of the club is the first men's signing for the team this offseason.
