The Coles Express NBL1 All-Star Five Member Lachie Barker has re-signed for two seasons with the Frankston Blues for the 2023 NBL1 season.
Through the Wildcard series, the Blues made the National Finals and were runners-up to the Rockingham Flames for the National Title. Barker was named to the NBL1 National Finals All-Star Five, averaging 24 points, 3.3 assists and three rebounds across the competition.

For the NBL1 South season, Barker averaged 21 points and 4.3 rebounds, taking Frankston to the second round of the finals where they lost to the stacked Sandringham Sabres.
Barker was rewarded after his stellar NBL1 season with a contract from Melbourne United. His best performance of NBL23 so far came against the Sydney Kings in Round 2, where he scored 10 points with a flurry of shots.
