Cougars ink leader duo

The Cockburn Cougars have inked the signatures of Steph Gorman and Daniel Raber for the 2025 season. 

The championship runners-up secured the pair as their first signings for their redemption campaign. 

Gorman, who also plays for the WNBL's Perth Lynx, returns after co-captaining the Cougars in a near-perfect season. She averaged 16.5 points, 4.1 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game last season. 

Raber had an impressive first season at Cockburn in 2024, with the 28-year-old forward averaging 18.7 points and a massive 11 rebounds to lead the Cougars to their second-straight championship game appearance. 

The Cougars will eye a third Grand Final spot in 2025.
