Cousins McKillop and Lynch return to Roar

Cousins Laura McKillop and Penny Lynch will be returning to the RedCity Roar for the inaugural 2021 NBL1 North season.

After a season in the Queensland State League,  McKillop will be looking to work her way into a role within the squad.

She has been a prolific scorer at junior level and will benefit greatly from another year in the senior ranks.

Last year, McKillop showed she can compete at senior level with the opportunities she earned off the bench in QSL. 

Her size and athleticism and ability to shoot make her a valuable asset at this level with the potential to play as either a guard or a forward.

Athletic forward Lynch returns for her second season at senior level with the RedCity Roar.

After learning the ropes from Char Mellars in her debut season in the QSL last year, Lynch will look to take a step forward in her development under coach Cassie Dover. 

Lynch also has facets to her game that will help the Roar compete at NBL1 level.
