The Giants have re-signed livewire guard Hamish Cummings for the upcoming 2022 NBL1 West season.
Cummings, a 182cm guard, joined the Giants in 2021 after a distinguished representative junior career where he played for Western Australia at numerous National Championships.
He moved to the region to get more basketball opportunity after 3 SBL seasons, and he was afforded that with the club's injury woes last season, and he relished the increased responsibility.
By seasons end he had started 13 games, with averages of 8 points, 2 assists and 2 rebounds per game and being placed 3rd in the Giants' Most Valuable Player award.
At just 21 years of age, he is now coming into his fifth season of SBL/NBL1, and is looking to build on a career best season and establish himself in the main player rotation with the Giants.
Stay tuned for more announcements in regards to player signings for the Giants’ Men’s team for their 2022 season.
