West Adelaide dominated Woodville 97-58 on Saturday at Port Adelaide Recreation Centre. The home team built a commanding 46-point lead and never trailed in a one-sided affair.
West Adelaide's offensive firepower proved too much for Woodville, shooting an impressive 52 percent from the field compared to Woodville's 31 percent. The Bearcats were especially lethal from outside, hitting 14 triples at 41 percent efficiency. Lat Mayen (28 points) and Keanu Rasmussen (26 points) provided a devastating one-two punch, combining for nine three-pointers.
Woodville struggled to generate offence, managing just five makes from beyond the arc and being out-assisted 19-9. Nick Wurm led the Warriors with 13 points, but no other player reached double figures. Steven Parfitt added eight points and eight boards in a tough night for the visitors who shot just 60 percent from the charity stripe.
