The Knox Raiders beat the Kilsyth Cobras 76-47 on Saturday night at the State Basketball Centre, delivering a commanding performance from start to finish.
The Raiders dominated with an efficient offensive attack, shooting 38 percent from the field while holding Kilsyth to just 28 percent. Alicia Froling was unstoppable with a massive double-double, pouring in 27 points on 53 percent shooting and grabbing 11 boards. Knox controlled the glass with a 53-36 rebounding advantage and dished out twice as many assists (16-8) as their opponents. Their work from the charity stripe was equally impressive, converting 16 of 18 attempts.
The Cobras struggled to find any offensive rhythm, connecting on just 7 of 34 attempts from outside.
