Dane Pineau Re-Signs with Sandringham Sabres

The Sandringham Sabres have announced the re-signing of experienced centre Dane Pineau for the 2026 NBL1 South season.

A key member of Sandringham’s 2025 championship-winning side, Pineau was instrumental in anchoring the Sabres’ interior presence across the season. He averaged 7.1 points, 10.2 rebounds and 1.6 blocks per game, providing a consistent defensive and rebounding presence that proved vital during the club’s title run.

A seasoned professional with experience across both the NBL and international competitions, Pineau’s return adds valuable leadership and stability to the reigning champions as they prepare to defend their crown in 2026.
