Daniel Joyce calls time

Ballarat's Daniel Joyce has called time on his basketball career. 

Joyce played 100 games for the Rush and was an integral part of their squad. 

He also played 131 NBL games for the Wollongong Hawks and Sydney Kings. 

In his first year of NBL1 South, Joyce finished his career with averages of 4.50 points and 2.62 rebounds per game. 

Father and Miners coach Brendan Joyce paid tribute to his son on Twitter, praising his resilience following an Achilles injury and acknowledging his tenure in the SEABL and Waratah Leagues.
