David Barlow re-signs for two years

Fresh off guiding Sandringham to the NBL1 South 2025 Championshi, Barlow’s return provides invaluable continuity for a program firmly positioned among the league’s elite. His composure, professionalism and on-court IQ were central to the Sabres’ championship identity, while his experience as a long-time Australian Boomer continues to set the tone for the club’s high-performance standards.

With decades of elite basketball experience, including Olympic campaigns and an extensive NBL career, Barlow’s influence stretches far beyond game day. His leadership in preparation, player development and culture building has been widely credited as a key driver in the Sabres’ rise to the top.
