Two-time NBL champion Dejan Vasiljevic has re-signed with the NBL1 South Diamond Valley Eagles for the 2023 NBL1 season.
Coming off his second championship with the Sydney Kings, the Victorian will rejoin the Eagles for a second season in what the team's social media prefaced will be a "handful" of games.
Last season he averaged 26 points, 7.6 rebounds and 4.6 assists and made the NBL1 South All-Star Five in 11 games.

During the week on the NBL’s The Huddle podcast, the Eltham WIldcats’ star signing and Kings teammate Angus Glover said a potential match-up with Vasiljevic would be a fun match-up.
The pair have been teammates at the Kings since 2020 and have grown up playing juniors and representative basketball together over the journey.
“DJ and I are boys, and it’s going to be funny if we end up playing against each other,” Glover said.
“We’ve been playing together for so long now, and it’ll definitely be weird.“If it happens, it happens. I’m sure if he’s not playing he’ll probably be on the sidelines talking trash anyway.”
The two will face off this weekend in the NBL1 South Game of the Week, with the Eagles hosting Eltham from 8:00pm AESDT Live & Free on Kayo Freebies here.
