Development Coaching Program

The Mt Gambier Pioneers are inviting passionate, motivated, community-focused individuals to apply for our developing coaching program for the upcoming NBL1 season.

 

The OneFortyOne and Castec Rural Pioneers pre season commences mid February and the club is seeking association coaches keen to support the club in season 2026.

 

This is your chance to become part of the club’s coaching pathway, developing your leadership, and grow your confidence whilst supporting both our NBL1 athletes and teams, whilst contributing to the growth of basketball across the Limestone Coast.

 

•The opportunity to work within a semi-professional club environment aligned with NBL1 South standards and culture of teamwork and growth.

•Hands-on experience in player development, training structure, and game preparation alongside experienced staff.

•A chance to inspire the next generation of Pioneers basketball talent.

 

We’re seeking individuals who:

•Are 18 years old or above

•Have or are working towards completion of their community or club coaching accreditation.

•Are available to assist for Pioneers trainings, game days and road trips.

•Are passionate about basketball and community development

•Have a team-first attitude and a willingness to learn

•Communicate well and can work positively with coaches, players, parents, and club volunteers
