Dufficy joins the Wildcats

The Eltham Wildcats are delighted to announce the signing of Shannon Dufficy for the upcoming NBL1 South season. Shannon brings a wealth of experience and talent to the team, and her addition is set to bolster the Wildcats’ line-up for the season ahead.

“I’m excited to be back playing in Australia again and signing with the Wildcats,” expressed Dufficy.

“Eltham has already been so welcoming, and I am looking forward to a great season with this talented group. I hope to contribute to the team with my experience and leadership and be more involved with the Wildcat community.”

Dufficy’s return to Australia comes after a high-level college career in the United States of America where she played Division 1 for Missouri, Utah State and finished with the Oregon Ducks where she honed her skills and developed into an elite versatile player.

The 6’2 forward is a well-rounded player who can stretch the floor with her shooting while also being a presence inside on both ends of the court. Head Coach Matt Bongetti is thrilled to have Shannon on board.

“Shannon has been able to fit in really well to our group. She had a high-level college career that has allowed her to bring a well-rounded skill set back. Her ability to score and rebound the ball in bunches and always make the right play is something we are really excited about bringing into our group.”
