North Adelaide dominated Norwood 74-43 on Saturday at The Lights Community and Sports Centre, building a commanding 31-point lead during a one-sided contest.
The Rockets' offense fired on all cylinders with Brooke Basham posting a double-double with 22 points and 11 rebounds while adding four steals. North Adelaide's ball movement was exceptional with 22 assists to Norwood's nine, led by Mollie McKendrick's seven dimes. The Rockets controlled the glass with 56 rebounds and shot at a much higher rate from the field (42.9 percent) compared to Norwood's dismal 22.4 percent.
Norwood struggled to find any rhythm with Amanda Paschal's 14 points being the lone bright spot. The Flames couldn't keep up with North Adelaide's offense, converting just 15 field goals all night. Their three-point shooting was particularly poor, hitting just 3-of-30 from outside. Despite winning the offensive boards battle 14-12, Norwood couldn't capitalize, scoring just four second-chance points.
**NORTH ADELAIDE 74 (Brooke Basham 22, Mollie McKendrick 13, Jordyn Freer 13).**
**NORWOOD 43 (Amanda Paschal 14, Sophie Kerridge 8, Maddy Hinton 7).**
