Each week thanks to Foot Locker, the NBL1 awards a male and female player from each conference, the Foot Locker Player of the Week Award, including a $200 voucher to basketball players' favourite store to buy sneakers.

NBL1 North

Logan Thunder: Mikaela Ruef

If a player was to earn this award for the second consecutive week in a row, it would be Mikaela Ruef. Dominating in the NBL1 North again, Ruef showcased a massive performance in Logan’s 2-0 weekend.

In Logan's first game of Round 10, Ruef put down 21 points and 22 rebounds which led her team to their first victory of the weekend against the Rockhampton Rockets. She continued that momentum over the Mackay Meteors and recorded an equal 24 points and 24 rebounds.

Finishing with an average of 22.5 points, 23 rebounds and four assists.

Gold Coast Rollers: Todd Blanchfield

Todd Blanchfield skyrocketed over the USC Rip City with a whopping 41 points to secure a very comfortable 120-97 win.

The uncontracted player has well and truly increased his NBL free agency interest with his high-impact performances this NBL1 season.

Blanchfield averaged 24.5 points, 14.5 rebounds and 4.4 assists per game in the mighty Rollers’ 2-0 weekend.

NBL1 West

Warwick Senators: Stacey Barr

The Coles Express NBL1 National Finals All-Star Five member is now the fifth female player in NBL1 history to record over 50 points in a single game.

In the Senators’ 29-point win over the Perth Redbacks, Barr showcased her toughest plays with 51 points and eight rebounds. She also made eight three-pointers to top off an excellent performance.

Cockburn Cougars: Gavin Field

Double-double machine Gavin Field led his squad to a 97-85 win on the road over the Goldfields Giants in Round 10.

Field suited up and recorded 30 points, 10 rebounds and four assists to ensure the Cougars claimed a crucial win to put them back on the ladder.

NBL1 Central

Central Districts Lions: Jaedyn De La Cerda

Lions’ high-impact player Jaedyn De La Cerda hit an impressive triple-double over the weekend against the Norwood Flames.

De La Cerda recorded 22 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists in 40 minutes. De La Cerda led the Lions to their first-ever win of the season, the perfect result to match her triple-double stat line.

Forestville Eagles: Malith Machar

One of the NBL1 Central's stars, Malith Machar was a shooting powerhouse against the Eastern Mavericks in NBL1 Central’s Round 10. 

Machar hit 25 points, 19 rebounds and two assists, but his most impressive stat was his percentages, shotting at 62.5% from the field.
