On another long weekend, the NBL1 will host its annual ANZAC Round, which will have some spectacular match-ups on display.

Check out the must-watch games below:

Thursday, Round 4: Mandurah Magic vs South West Slammers

Women’s live from 6:30pm | Men’s live from 8:30pm AWST

Superstar Ally Wilson will face off against South West Slammers in an ANZAC Eve clash.

In her first two games, the former NBL1 Central Finals MVP has not played up to her own standards, averaging 13.5 points, seven rebounds and 3.5 assists for the historically successful Magic.

Wilson is bound for a breakout performance, and with the national audience watching on Kayo Sports, could we see a classic Wilson game?

Friday, Round 5: Norwood Flames vs Woodville Warriors

Women’s live from 1:30pm | Men’s live from 3:30pm ACST

A clash of titans will take place on Friday night as Norwood’s Emily Saunders will take Woodville’s brand new import in Laura Erikstrup.

With Saunders standing at 196cm (6’5”) and Erikstrup at 188cm (6’1”), expect some battles on the glass as these two Americans will go head-to-head this weekend.

With a guard battle featuring Warriors star Jasmin Fejo and recent Player of the Week Amanda Pascal, this will be a great way to end ANZAC Day.

Saturday, Round 4: Eltham Wildcats vs Ballarat Miners

Women’s live from 6:00pm | Men’s live from 8:00pm AEST

In a Grand Final rematch, the Eltham Wildcats will host the Ballarat Miners for the first time since their fabled clash last season.

While the rosters look different, there will be plenty of bitter emotions heading into this game. With a retooled group for the champions including Mitch McCarron, Gabe Hadley and import Xavier Bledson – expect a rowdy crowd to support their team at home.

On the other side, Ballarat are coming off a major win, 78-81, against the Hobart Chargers down in Tasmania. Luke Rosendale, Nicholas Stoddart and Majok Majok all returned from last season and the continuity has paid off with a 3-1 record thus far.

Make sure to watch this Grand Final rematch Saturday night.

Saturday, Round 4: Bankstown Bruins vs Inner West Bulls

Women’s live from 1:00pm | Men’s live from 3:30pm AEST

After a bye-weekend for the entire conference, both teams will be hungry to get back on the floor and make a statement.

Sitting 10th and 11th respectively on the ladder, this will be an even clash with plenty to play for as the finals continue to loom.

The one to watch is Jason Cadee, who will benefit most from some rest and should be ready to have a breakout game and be a star of the competition like he has for many years in the NBL1 North.
