Heading into the King’s Birthday public holiday, four conferences will battle it out from Thursday to Sunday.

Check out the full fixture below:

Here are the must-watch players in this weekend’s Games of the Week, available to watch live & free via Kayo Freebies.

West Banner

Saturday, Round 11: Joondalup Wolves vs Cockburn Cougars

Women’s live from 5:00pm | Men’s live from 7:00pm

Cockburn Cougars: Steph Gorman

The reigning Defensive Player of the Year and Finals MVP has elevated her game to another level in 2024, averaging three more points per game and remaining one of the conference’s scariest opponents.

Against the third-placed Joondalup Wolves, all eyes will be on the reigning champions to see if they can lock down the duo of Sarah Toeaina and Darien Huff.

South Banner

Friday, Round 9: Dandenong Rangers vs Frankston Blues

Women’s live from 6:00pm | Men’s live from 8:00pm AEST

Dandenong Rangers: Dallas Loughridge

After only scoring 28 points over the past three games (playing over 86 minutes), Loughridge will be ready to bounce back against Opal Steph Reid in a mouth-watering match-up.

The WNBL prodigy has been strong all season, averaging 17 points per game for the fourth-placed Rangers. If Dandenong wants to make a Finals run, they’ll need Loughridge in peak form.

North Banner

Saturday, Round 9: North Gold Coast vs Gold Coast Rollers

Women’s live from 5:00pm | Men’s live from 7:00pm

Gold Coast Rollers: Elijah Kamu

The 19-year-old uber-athletic forward has had a difficult assignment to live up to: fill the void left by 2023 NBL1 North First Team member Todd Blanchfield. And so far, he’s done a tremendous job – averaging 17.7 points and 8.8 rebounds for the eighth-placed Rollers.

With the athleticism and skill set to score inside, the Seahawks' defence will have a wildcard to try and stop in Kamu, who forms a dangerous tandem alongside reigning MVP Jason Cadee.

East Banner

Friday, Round 10: Canberra Nationals & Gunners vs CoE Centre of Excellence

Men’s live from 6:00pm | Women’s live from 8:00pm

Canberra Gunners: Glenn Morison

The “Brindabella beacon” will be the one to watch this Friday as Canberra and the CoE will have a home and home across Thursday and Friday.

The 2022 Finals MVP is one of the most powerful centres in the competition, averaging 16.7 points, 9.6 rebounds and 1.6 blocks per game for the 9-1 Gunners.

While he has the size and experience, he will lack the speed Australian prospects Luke Fennell and Julius Halaifonua possess, making this a classic match-up of the future vs the present.
