Gatti prepared for season 2024

The Northern Star Resources Goldfields Giants are proud to announce the re-signing of Ellie Gatti ahead of the 2024 NBL1 West season.

Gatti has been putting in the hard work in the offseason and started preseason training with force, proving her commitment to the women’s team.

Coming into her third season, Gatti said her decision to come back was down to her love of the game, her teammates and the club.

"I am very excited for this season as we have a new female coaching staff and preseason has been filled with some intense cardio workouts off court, along with a lot of drills and running on court too," she said.

"I would 100 per cent love for us to make it to top wight this year.

"We were pretty unlucky our first two seasons as we had multiple injuries within our starting five so I am putting it out into the universe that we are not having any injuries this season."
