Guard Eliza West joins the Raiders

The Knox Raiders have added another talented young guard to their roster, with Utah State point guard Eliza West signing on for NBL1 South 2021.

West left Utah State with ranking first in career assists with 457, while also holding the second and fifth single-season assists record with 184 (2018-19) and 146 (2016-17) respectively.

Head coach Kennedy Kereama is looking forward to the physicality West can provide the team.

"Eliza is a relentless worker who is incredibly strong and fit," Kereama said.

"She is another excellent defender that I think will cause real problems for opposition guards.

"She does a great job of getting downhill into the paint and making decisions, whether that be finding the open player or attacking and finishing on the rim."
