Hollingsworth is a Hawk for 24

We are thrilled to announce that Lana Hollingsworth has signed with the Ringwood Hawks NBL1 South Women's team for the 2024 season!

Lana joins the Hawks after averaging 17 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists and 1 steal per game last season for the Keilor Thunder.

“To have Lana join us for the upcoming season is incredibly exciting. She had an outstanding season last year in her first full season in the league, showing to everyone that she is a star capable of leading her team” Coach Jeremy O’Toole said.

“Lana is a player that can score at all three levels, which puts immense pressure on an opposing defence. That is going to create opportunities for both her and the players around her which will be very important for us. She showed last season that she has the ability to both run an offence as well as be the primary scorer off the ball and how we can maximise both of those strengths from game to game will be a lot of fun to watch”.

“The part of her game that immediately stood out to me when I first saw her play, was her ability to set the tone defensively. Her willingness to get up the floor and be physical with opposing guards is something that will be really valuable for us. With her size and athleticism, she will be a great fit for the way we defend and will help us be better on that side of the ball in 2024”.
