The South West Metro Pirates have been boosted by the signature of JaKobe Hunter for the 2022 Coles Express NBL1 North season.
Hunter had a great season last year for the Pirates averaging 12 points, two assists and five rebounds, as well as shooting at 50 percent.
"It’s great to be back at the Ship," Hunter said.
"One of the reasons that brought me back is the support I received last season from my teammates, sponsors and juniors in the Pirates family.
"Also, I feel like coach Steve Edwards and our players returning from last season have unfinished business.
"We are building a core group of players, some grew up playing juniors here so hopefully we can inspire the next juniors coming through and take this team to the next level."
