Jackson joins Warriors in NBL1 Central

The Woodville Warriors have signed American import Joe Jackson for the 2021 NBL1 Central season.

Jackson has been playing in Darwin and performing strongly, which led to him being on Woodville’s radar for some time. The 6’7” forward played four years with Indiana University Southeast, averaging 14.2 points and 8.2 rebounds per game in his senior season.

“We brought Joe down for a trial during the year and he really impressed us in the short time we had with him,” coach Whitmore said.

“Joe is legit 6’7” forward who will add rim protection and athleticism to our group. Our fans should be excited for Joe’s arrival in early February.”
