Jaunutis named Woodville women's head coach

The Woodville Warriors have announced that Daniel Jaunutis will be taking the reins as their women's head coach in the 2022 NBL1 Central season.

The Woodville Warriors have announced that Daniel Jaunutis will be taking the reins as their women's head coach in the 2022 NBL1 Central season.
Jaunutis has most recently been the coach of the Warriors' U14 Division 1 girls team.
Prior to this, he coached Division 1 girls teams at both junior and senior level for over two decades in both Victoria and South Australia.
In Victoria, he was on the coaching staff of Blackburn's Big V winning team and as a junior coach, has been a coach of both winning and runner-up VJBL teams.
His record in South Australia includes multiple state championship grand final appearances and titles, including back-to-back grand final appearances, in addition to winter season championships.
On the Woodville women's head coach appointment, Jaunutis said: "I am really excited about working with this group this year.
"We have a good core group of young, talented players and I am excited to see what we can do in 2022."
