Jerome Reid enters tenth season

Men’s captain Jerome Reid signs on for tenth year with the Northern Star Resources Goldfields Giants men's team ahead of the 2024 NBL1 West season.

The 195cm guard, who took up captaincy in 2020, is looking forward to another season of leadership under new head coach Matt Van Pelt.

On his signing, Reid said his sights are set on playoffs this season.

"Preseason was good, there’s been a lot of change this year but I think the boys are adjusting well," he said.

"We’ve seen a lot of development over the past few months from our young locals which is great to see.

"Getting back in the playoff picture after missing them last year is the goal. I believe in our team and our system that we’ll make a push late in the season."
